NORFOLK- Marzie M. (Smith) Poole, 73, passed away Jan. 22, 2007.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph E. Poole Jr.; five children, Laura Jean Cox 
of North Carolina, Linda M. Matthews, Joseph Poole III, and wife, Sharon, David M. 
Poole, all of Virginia, and Nancy C. Myers of Florida. Mildred has four surviving 
sisters, Sylvia, Barbara, Fay and Alice Dean, and three surviving brothers, Cyril, 
Richard and Allen. "Me-maw" was well loved by her 12 grandchildren and her great-
grandchildren. There are many nieces, nephews and cousins. All of us love and 
greatly miss you.

A graveside service will be held today at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. 
Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be shared
