NORFOLK - Wallace Edward Porter Sr. of 827 Lexington Ave., the husband of Mrs. Mary
E. Porter and a Norfolk native, died Saturday in a hospital after a short illness.

He was a retired grocery Store operator.

Other survivors include a son, Wallace Edward Porter Jr. of Portsmouth; a sister,
Mrs. Elouise Williams of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel. Burial will be
in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at 775 A. Ave.
