Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, May 29, 1991 
Christina Portlock of the 2700 block of Corprew Ave., a retired clerk, died May
26, 1991, in her home.

Mrs. Portlock, a Norfolk native, had retired from Sovran Bank after 30 years.
She was the widow of Herbert Portlock Sr. She was a member of New Calvary
Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star 101, and Elmi Elizabeth Tent 364.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Cason of Chesapeake, Hilda McNeely of
Virginia Beach and Barbara Langston of Portsmouth; two sons, Herbert Portlock
Jr. of Chesapeake and William Portlock of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mary
English, and a brother, William Hill, both of Baltimore; seven grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in New Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will
assemble at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m.
Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
