Funeral rites were conducted Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1:15 p.m. from the Garrett 
Community Church for Robert Portlock, 45, who died Oct. 21 at his residence, 
1283 Dusch avenue.

He was born in Norfolk, a son of the late Jordon and Mrs. Martha Portlock, 
was employed at the U. S. Naval Base, Public Works Department, and was a 
member of Garrett Community Church where he was a member of the male usher 
board.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gussie Portlock.

The Rev. J. A. Askew, pastor of the church, presided.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale’s Funeral Home in charge.
