Virginian-Pilot April 29, 1968
NORFOLK - Miss Kathleen Posivach, 21, of 1056 W. Ocean View Ave., died Saturday 
in a Richmond hospital of injuries suffered in a single car accident in 
Farmvil1e. Details were not learned.
Miss Posivach, a daughter of Louis Eugene and Mrs. Christine Veronica McKee 
Posivach, was a senior at Longwood College, Farmville.
A native of Stroudsburg, Pa., she lived here 16 years. She was a member of Holy 
Trinity Catholic Church.
A June 1964 graduate of Granby High School, she went two years to Chowan 
College, Murfreesboro, N.C., where she was elected to the National Honor Society 
for junior college students.
Besides her parents, surviving are a sister, Miss Stephanie Posivach of Norfolk; 
and a brother, Michael Patrick Posivach of Tampa, Fla.
The Office of the Dead will he recited tonight at 7:30 in Smith & Williams 
Funeral Home.
A Requiem mass will be said Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
