F. King Funeral Home. A native of Aurora, NC, he was the son of Mrs. Cammie P. Powers of Brooklyn, and the late Charlie Potter. He was the husband of Mrs. Alma Potter. He was a member of First Union Presbyterian Church, Alpha and Omega and Progressive Masonic lodge. Besides his mother and widow, surviving are one brother, Daniel Powers of Brooklyn NY, and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Jordan of Belhaven, NC, Mrs. Lizzie Moore of Aurora, NC, Mrs. Christine Smith of Compton, CA, Mrs. Lucy Walkin, Mrs. Margaret Blont of Brooklyn, NY. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. O. W. Wynn. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
