Virginian-Pilot January 26, 1973
NORFOLK - Mrs. Marie Kean Powell of 817 W. 37th St., died in a hospital 
Thursday.
She was a daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Mrs. Eunice Marie Kean.
A native of New Orleans, she lived here most of her life.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Chapel.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marie Woodcock and a sister, Mrs. Garland H. 
Spain, both of Norfolk; a granddaughter, Mrs. Sherman Mullens of Richmond; and a 
grandson, John H. Woodcock of West Palm Beach, Fla.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Chapel Saturday 
at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
