Virginian-Pilot February 8 & 10, 1901
POWER – At the residence, No. 208 West Highland avenue, Thursday, February 7, 
1901, at 10 o’clock a.m., ALICE A., daughter of George F. and Mrs. Mary Power, 
age 12 years, 2 months.
Notice of funeral hereafter.

The funeral of Miss Alice A. Power, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Power, 
who died Thursday at the residence of her parents, No. 208 West Highland avenue, 
took place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church yesterday morning at 9 o’clock. The 
services were conducted by the Rev. Father Crow. The following were the 
pallbearers: Messrs. John T. Fogarty, W. H. Mayo, John Crowling, William Luck, 
Rowland Smith and Aaron Blessingham. The interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.


Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy between her middle initial in the HDO records and that 
shown in the newspaper.
