L. Power, son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Power, who died suddenly yesterday morning between 6 and 7 o’clock on the street, have not yet been completed. Mr. Power was taken ill while on the way to his work. He died not far from his home, 558 Ferguson avenue. He was a native of Baltimore but had lived in Norfolk for the past 23 years. He is survived by five sisters: Mrs. W. H. Richardson of New York city, Mrs. H. M. Martin of Washington, Mrs. C. H. Harrison, Mrs. D. E. Spry and Miss Loretta Power, all of Norfolk, and one brother, T. P. Power, also of Norfolk. The funeral of George F. L. Power occurred at 2:30 p.m. today at the residence, 558 Ferguson avenue, and was largely attended, Rev. John Doherty, of St. Mary’s Catholic church, officiating. There were handsome floral tributes. The interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery, the pallbearers being C. B. Mero, William Barnhart, Burke Hickey, William Wilkinson, Walter Robinson, H. J. Smith.
