Stone 1330 W. 27th street, Saturday, December 27, 1919, at 11 o'clock p.m., ANN E., widow o Joseph H. Powers, in the 68th year of her age. Funeral services MONDAY, December 29, at 2 o'clock p.m. from the above residence. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment, Forest Lawn cemetery. ********************** Mrs. Ann E. Powers died at 11 o'clock last night at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J.R. Stone, 1330 West Twenty-seventh street, after being ill for some time. She had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 years and is well known in the city. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, all of whom live in Norfolk. The sons are: Linwood Overton, Webster Overton and Joel N. Powers. The surviving daughters are Mrs. J.R. Stone and Mrs. W.N. Gunter. Mrs. Powers was the widow of the late Joseph H. Powers.
