A native of Camden County, North Carolina, and a daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. Katie McGowen Liverman. She had made her home here 38 years. Her husband, B.T. Poyner; three daughters, Miss Pearl Poyner, Mrs. H.D. Curtis and Miss Anna Belle Poyner; two sons, Cecil and Thomas Poyner; one sister, Mrs. Nora Miller, and three brothers, Charles, Walter and Riley Liverman, all of South Norfolk, survive her. Mrs. Poyner was an active member of Geneva Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will e conducted at the residence Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
