The Virginian-Pilot, Thursday, December 29, 1960

NORFOLK - Eddie Pratt, 63, of 1009 Elkins St., died Saturday in a Norfolk 
hospital after a short illness.

He was a son of Henry and Mrs. Laura Pratt and the husband of Mrs. Mildred 
Pratt. Born in Tarboro, N.C., he lived in Norfolk 40 years and retired from the 
Pennsylvania Railroad after 35 years of service.

Besides his widow, surviving are three sons, Eddie Pratt of Rocky Mount, N.C., 
and Cornelius Pratt and John Pratt of Norfolk, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Taylor 
of Washington.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held 
Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
