Thomas Pratt, 82, of 742 Princess Anne Road, died at his home on Tuesday, April 6 
and his funeral was held at Hale’s Chapel with the Rev. D. Y. Campbell, pastor of 
the New Calvary Baptist Church officiating, April 11. The deceased was a native of 
Delaware and had lived here 45 years, was survived by two daughters, Misses Sadie 
and Bertha Pratt, one grandchild, Mrs. Bertha Sanford. He was buried in Calvary 
Cemetery. Mr. Pratt was a veteran of the Civil War.
