The Virginian Pilot Wednesday March 25, 1981
Mrs. Elishea Tatem Pretlow, 84, of 2823 Somme Ave., the widow of Samuel B. 
Pretlow and a native of Berkley, died Tuesday in Lake Taylor City Hospital.  
She retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station in 1967.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Maria H. Matthews of Franklin and two 
nephews, John W. Pretlow of Chesapeake and Stanley T. Holland of Franklin.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, 
South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Samuel D. Austin of Bow Creek Presbyterian 
Church.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  The family will be at the 
home of John W. Pretlow of Hawthorne Drive, Chesapeake.
