Norfolk - Mrs. Carrie Pretlow of 1414 Shipp street, who died June 21 in a
Norfolk hospital, died June 21 in a Norfolk hospital, received final rites
Wednesday at New Calvary Baptist Church.

The Rev. Samuel A. Wilson, New Calvary pastor, delivered the eulogy for Mrs.
Pretlow, who was a member of the church choir. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery
under direction of Hale Funeral Home.

A native of Surry County, Mrs. Pretlow was a member of the Grand Court of
Calanthe, National Ideal Benefit Society and the Tents. She is survived by six
nieces and six nephews.
