Virginian Pilot September 8, 1991

Virginia R. Price, 81, of the 100 block of Ridgeley Circle, a retired elementary 
school teacher, died Sept. 7, 1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Price was born in Norfolk. She taught at Norfolk Academy for 27 years. She 
was the widow of George W. Price III and a member of Episcopal Church of the 
Advent.
Survivors include two daughters, Julia P. Williams of Virginia Beach and Lee P. 
Davis of Richmond; two sisters, Lucille R. Messmer of Norfolk and June R. 
Patterson of Alexandria; and a grandchild.
The graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. John Jordan. Friends may join the family at 155 Ridgeley Circle from 4 
to 8 p.m. today. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling 
arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the University of Richmond or Old Dominion 
University.
