Ophelia Commander Price, 78, of 738 Roland Drive, a native of Philadelphia and 
the widow of Rodolph M. Price III, died Monday in her home.

Mrs. Price had retired from the Norfolk Public School System as a teacher after 
20 years. She was a supporter of the Norfolk SPCA, Animal Protection and 
Wildlife Conservation and the National Wildlife Federation.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Rodolph M. Price IV.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery 
by Eric R. Alexie, Hollomon Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel in 
charge.
