ROANOKE RAPIDS - Mr. Garland Charles Price Jr., 82, founder of Price's 
Refrigeration and Heating Services Inc. of Roanoke Rapids, died Monday, May 31, 
2004, at Guardian Care in Scotland Neck. 
Mr. Price was born March 28, 1922, the son of the late Garland C. Price Sr. and 
Rosa Lee Price. He was a WWII Navy veteran. 
Survivors include his wife, Blanche Holland Price; his step-son, Ronald Paul 
and his wife, Virginia of Henrico; his step-daughter, Lois Blum and her 
husband, Frederick of Springfield, Va.; his son, Garland C. Price and his wife, 
Diane of Richmond, Va.; his daughter, Deborah Moses and her husband, Wayne of 
Casar; his grandchildren, Janet Lynch and her husband, Charles of Clifton, Va., 
Keith Blum and his wife, Leesa of Fairfax Station, Va., Chris Paul and his 
wife, Tracie of Roanoke Rapids, John Paul and his wife, Tonya of Emporia, Va., 
and Cindy, Tom and David Price of Virginia; and seven great-grandchildren. 
Massey Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, is handling the arrangements, where a 
memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2004, with Rev. Sue 
Owens officiating. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Carolina 
Library for the Blind or the American Cancer Society.
