Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, January 9, 1998 
Herman Price Jr. of the 1700 block of Blair Ave. died Jan. 6, 1998, in a local
hospital.

Born in Norfolk, he was a retired warehouseman for Navy Weapon Station,
Yorktown, with 28 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Price; three stepdaughters, Cheryl Whitehurst,
Shelia McCoy and Lisa Preliour; three stepsons, Shelton McCoy of Williamston,
N.C., Nathan McCoy and Neil McCoy, both of Norfolk; his father, Herman Price
Sr.; five grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews; and a host of other relatives
and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Mount Olive Baptist Church by
the Rev. John Davis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is
in charge. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
