Prieur, died at her home, 915 Colonial Avenue, yesterday morning after a lingering illness in the seventieth year of her age. Mrs. Prieur was a native of Norfolk County but had been a resident of Norfolk over 40 years and was widely known and universally esteemed for her many endearing traits of character. She is survived by a son, W.L. Prieur; two daughters, Mrs. W.T. Curdts and Mrs. C. Fred Bonney, two sisters, Misses Maggie L. and Georgia A. Fendley and two brothers, Benjamin F. and J.H. Fendley, all of Norfolk. The funeral will be held at the residence at 9 a.m. Sunday and will be conducted by Rev. Stuart Nye Hutchison of the First Presbyterian Church and Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D. of the Freemason Street Baptist Church. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
