Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 17, 1941


Mrs. Mary C Prince, aged 83, widow of A.B. Prince, died at a local hospital 
Tuesday night at 11:45 o’clock. She was the daughter of the late Holland and 
Mrs. Susan Millear Wright. She was a native of Nansemond County and had been 
a resident of Norfolk the past 45 years. 
She is survived by a half-sister, Mrs. Margaret Elliott, of Norfolk County; 
a step-daughter, Mrs. Addie Harbouis, of Camden, N.J., and a number of 
nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
The body was taken from the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 1920 Colley 
Avenue, corner Harrington, to the LeKies Methodist Church, of which she was 
a member for funeral services this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. The Rev. L.C. 
Smart, pastor will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
