NORFOLK - James Edward Prince Jr., 76, of the 7700 block of N. Shirland Ave., died 
Feb. 15, 2003, in his residence.

Mr. Prince was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was the son of the 
late James and Helen Taliaferro Prince. He was a retired certified public 
accountant and partner with the Accounting firm of Edmondson, LedBetter and 
Ballard, LLP. He graduated from Maury High School and the College of William and 
Mary. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret C. Prince of Norfolk; four sons, James E. 
Prince III and W. Alton Prince, both of Norfolk, Matthew T. Prince of 
Kearneysville, W.Va., Thomas C. Prince of Norfolk; a brother, William T. Prince, 
of Norfolk; and five grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Daniel Klem and the Rev. John Dorgan.

A Christian wake service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk 
Chapel, Monday at 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Sister Agatha Fund 
at Bon Secours Hospital, Norfolk.
