Michael Henry Prince - Funeral services for Capt. Prince, whose death occurred Saturday evening at the residence, 407 West Thirty-fifth street, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. J. O. Schmidhauser, officiating. Rev. R. B. Kealey and Rev. Leo J. Ryan were present in the sanctuary. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of pink roses, Easter lilies and ferns. During the service, Mrs. F. R. McLaughlin sang, “Abide With Me,” with Mrs. C. B. Davies, organist. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Charles L. Francis, Hon. William H. Sargeant, John M. Arnold, Daniel Coleman, Nathaniel Green, Thomas H. Willcox, Jr., George M. Heppel, Thomas J. Hanlon, N. Charlton, Capt. J. D. Wood, Hugh L. Butler, A. Plummer Pannill, B. Gray Tunstall, John A. Butt, E. S. Wood, Maj. I. Walke Truxtun and James T. Hannon. Active pallbearers were Cecil M. Robertson, W. Taylor Johnson, Robert L. Boggs, William L. Prleur, Jr., Judge W. L. Devaney, Col. Charles B. Borland, W. J. Walsh and J. J. Baecher. In his address at the conclusion of the mass, Father Schmidhauser spoke of Mr. Prince’s kindness and of his civic life. Services at the grave were conducted by Father Ryan and Father Schmidhauser.
