Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 19, 1923

Mrs. Frances Foster Pringle, wife of George DeWitt Pringle, and daughter of the 
late William Henry and Emeline Walker Foster, died Thursday at 5:05 p.m. at the 
residence No. 2 Drumel Apartments, Twelfth Street and Moran Avenue, aged 43 years. 
She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived 
by two children, George DeWitt, Jr. and Francis Eugene Pringle; two sisters, Mrs. 
W. Clyde Simpson, of Norfolk County and Miss Elizabeth Foster, of Norfolk; one 
brother, William W. Foster, of Hartford, Conn. Funeral services will be at the 
residence Saturday at noon, Rev. J.W. Moore, D.D., pastor of Epworth M.E. Church, 
officiating.
