The funeral of Alex Pritchard, 75, of 755 Grant St. was held at Hale’s Chapel, 
with the Rev. R. K. D. Garrett officiating, on Sunday. He died at a local hospital 
on July 22. Mr. Pritchard was born in Fayetteville, NC, and lived here for 35 
years. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Mollie McDonald. He was buried in 
Calvary Cemetery.
