Privott Succumbs Quickly As she was descending a flight of stairs in the home of her nephew, Lemuel Privott, 717 Chestnut Street, at 2:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Elizabeth Margaret Privott, aged 74 years, fell and was seized with a stroke of apoplexy, which caused her death in a few minutes. She came over from her home in Berkley a few days ago to visit her nephew and was in the best of health and spirits up to the very moment of her mishap. She ate heartily of her dinner a short time before and seemed to be enjoying good health and was quite active for her age. As she was coming down the stairs she had descended all but three steps when she fell. Her cries and the noise of the fall attracted members of the household who ran to her. It was apparent to them then that she was suffering from some ailment and Dr. Claud was summoned but before he reached the house Mrs. Privott was dead. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mollie Keeter, of Berkley and two sons, also of the same place, Thomas and John H. Privott. Another son, W.J. Privott, lives in Columbia, N.C. Mrs. Privott was the widow of Samuel Privott. The funeral service will take place at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the residence of her nephew in this city. ********************************************************************** The funeral service of Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Privott, who died last Friday in the residence of her nephew, Lemuel Privott, 717 Chestnut Street, took place there at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon and was quite largely attended.
