Andrew Privott, 50, died at his residence, 1450 Melon street, Diggs Park,
January 26.  He was a son of the late John and Mrs. Amanda Burke and was born in
Edenton, NC.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Bernice Privott;  ten children, Vernon, Thelma,
 Grace, Bernice, Annie Mae, Caroll, Antoinette, Andrew, Jr., Sarah, and Anthony
Privott;  four sisters, Mesdames Clarine Riddick, Virginia Best, Williana Burke
and Mary B. Jones;  three brothers, Furman, Oscar and Richard Privott;  and half
brothers Sterlie, Hubert R., John L., Junior, Langford Jr, James E., and Willie
F. Burke.

He was a truck driver for the Virginia Furniture Co. for about 17 years.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 2 at the Mt. Olive Disciples
Church at 2 p.m.  The pastor, Elder Madison Copeland, will officiate.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Baker’s Funeral Home in charge.
