VIRGINIA BEACH - William Fisher Proctor of 5812 Tajo St. died Tuesday in the 
Veterans Administration Hospital Hampton.

A native of Norfolk, he was employed by Baltimore Boat Line and was retired from 
Bay Line Steam Ship Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Herbert O. Proctor of Norfolk; and a nephew, Dr. 
O.W. Proctor of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Graves Funeral Chaple by Dr. J.J. 
Freeman, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at the O.W. 
Proctor home 5812 Tajo St.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 7-8 p.m. today.
