Proctor, 918 Fremont St., Monday, will be conducted today at 1 p.m. at Bank Street Baptist Church. The Rev. J. B. Henderson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Proctor, who was a daughter of William and Mary Fisher, was born in Chesterfield County. She was brought to Norfolk during her childhood, and she attended elementary school in Norfolk. She was a schoolmate of Booker T. Washington and Hampton Institute where she graduated in 1882, one year after the founder of Tuskegee graduated. She was a member of Bank Street Baptist Church from childhood. Mrs. Proctor is survived by her sons George Q. Proctor, Herbert Q. Proctor, William F. Proctor, and one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Proctor Hill, all of Norfolk; 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. One grandson, Dr. Samuel DeWitt Proctor, is president of Virginia Union University, Richmond; another grandson, Dr. O. W. Proctor, is a Norfolk dentist, and Charles Proctor, a third, is a postal clerk in Norfolk.
