CHESAPEAKE - Joseph Eduard Proulx, 72, passed away July 3, 2007. He was born in 
Lowell, Mass., to the late Joseph Leo Proulx and Florida Proulx. Mr. Proulx moved 
to Chesapeake two years ago. He was a member of the American Legion and St. 
Stephen Martyr Catholic Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Geraldine Proulx; his daughters, Nancy 
Kelley and Denise Proulx; his sons, David, James and Michael Proulx; his 
stepdaughters, Catherine Quinn and Donna Lehmann; his sister, Therese Gagne; his 
brother, Leo Proulx; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Kyle, Jean Paul, Jourdan, 
Emily, Ian, Conor, Nolan, Kenneth and Calie.

The family will receive friends Wednesday at Twiford Colonial Chapel, 929 S. 
Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral Mass of the 
Resurrection will be Thursday at noon at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church with 
Monsignor Michael D. McCarron officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk. Following the burial service, a reception will be 
held at the home of Tom and Catherine Quinn.
