Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - September 16, 2012
Sarah W. Pruden Norfolk - of the 900 block of Roundbay Road passed away 
September 13, 2012. She retired from the Virginia Employment Commission. 
Survivors include husband, Paul L. Pruden ; daughter, Kathleen Pruden ; 
sons, Karlton C. Pruden and Kenneth C. Pruden ; sisters, Camille Watkins and 
Barbara Watkins; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other 
relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, 
September 19, 2012 at St. John AME Church, Rev. John Burton, officiating. 
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 
and quest Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. at Graves Funeral Home. The body will be 
placed in church at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. The family will assemble at 
Graves Funeral Home 11 a.m. Wednesday for a processional to the church.
