Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 2, 1937

 
Mrs. Anna Estelle Pulliam, aged 83 years, widow of Clay D. Pulliam and daughter 
of the late John C. and Sarah C. Smith, a native of Athens, Ga., and for the 
past 40 years a resident of Norfolk, died at 7:25 o’clock yesterday morning at 
the residence of her son-in-law, F.J. Peterson, 1312 Magnolia Avenue, 
Larchmont. Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. F.J. Peterson; one grandson, 
Constant W. Peterson, and a great-granddaughter, Marjorie Anne Peterson, all of 
Norfolk. 
Funeral services will be held at the above residence tomorrow at 12 o’clock 
noon, with the Rev. J.B. Sawyer, pastor of Larchmont Baptist Church, of which 
Mrs. Pulliam was a member, and the Rev. W. Albert Wright, pastor of Larchmont 
M.E. Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
