Funeral services for Stanley Lee Purdie, 28, of 887 Bagnall Road, will be held 
Sunday at King Funeral Home.

Mr. Purdie was killed by an unidentified person Monday evening. He was a native 
of Norfolk. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauling Purdie; four children, 
Cynthia, Dianne, Stanley Jr., and Christopher, all at home; his mother, Mrs. 
Bertha Lee White; stepfather, John E. White; and a brother, Ernest Allen; and 
three aunts.
