The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, August 29, 1961

NORFOLK - Yvonne Purdie, 2-month-old daughter of James L. and Mrs. Dorothy Mae 
Purdie of 871 Dillon Ave., died Sunday at 8:20 a.m. in her home.

Surviving are her parents; and two sisters, Sylvia Purdie and Janis Purdie, and a 
brother, Dwight Lee Purdie, of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held in Baker's Funeral Home today at 7:30 p.m. by Elder 
H. Charles Benjamin of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, of Portsmouth, with 
burial in Calvary Cemetery Wednesday at 10 a.m.
