Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 27, 1923

Marvel Lee Purdy, 7-months old son of W.K. and Mrs. Mary Hutchins Purdy, died 
at 7 o'clock last night at the residence, 215 Victoria Avenue.  Funeral 
services will take place tomorrow morning at the grave in Magnolia Cemetery, 
Berkley, the Rev. H.H. Covington, D.D., pastor of Old St. Paul's Episcopal 
church, officiating.
