PURDY, CHARLES ERNEST, SR. – At a local hospital, Friday, April 21, 1950, at 11:54 
p.m., CHARLES ERNEST PURDY, SR., son of the late Charles E. and Mrs. Mary Kennedy 
Purdy. Remains will be taken from the residence, 727 West 28th Street, to Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church for funeral services MONDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends 
of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
