Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 10, 1913
Samuel J. Putney the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. S.J. Putney died last 
evening at 7:30 o'clock at 140? Liberty Street after a brief illness.
The funeral will take place at the family residence in ?? Avenue, Oakdale, this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Samuel Putney, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.J. Putney, took place at the 
residence in Oakdale yesterday afternoon and burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
