Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, September 26, 1993 
Virginia Lee Stephens Putze, 77, a homemaker, died Sept. 24, 1993, in a local 
hospital.

Mrs. Putze was born in Norfolk and was a member of Christ and St. Lukes 
Episcopal Church. She was the widow of Gilbert A. Putze.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Virginia Marrazzo of Apple Valley, 
Calif., and Suzanne Putze Cherry of Norfolk; and three grandchildren, Lynnette 
Y. Cherry and Rebecca L. Cherry, both of Norfolk, and Douglas B. Council of 
California.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. James W.H. Sell. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday.
