Mr. Pyles had retired as a body shop manager at Pitrola Pontiac Garage in Fairmont, W.Va. He was a member of the Methodist Temple in Fairmont. He was a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Riefer Tyson of Norfolk; a son, James Pyles of Fairmont, W.Va.; three sisters, Jo Liston and Della Sole, both of Fairmont, W.Va., and Mildred Chapman of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Paul Pyles and Victor Pyles, both of Rowlesburg, W.Va., and Ralph Pyles of Fairmont, W.Va.; and five grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. James W. Draper. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
