He was a native of Cape Hatteras, N.C., and had made his home in this section for 50 years. He was the son of the late A.C. and Mrs. Christian Whedbee Quidley, and husband of Mrs. Bessie Daniels Quidley. Besides his wife, he is survived by one grandson, Odell Quidley, of South Norfolk; two brothers, R.M. Quidley, of Virginia Beach, and J.B. Quidley, of South Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. C.R. Hooper, of South Norfolk; one stepdaughter, Mrs. C.S. Farless, of Harrellsville, N.C., and two stepsons, Leroy Daniels, of San Francisco, and W.J. Daniels, of Washington. Mr. Quidley was a member of South Norfolk Christian Church and of Tidewater Council 30, J.O.U.A.M., Chesapeake Tribe, 50, I.O.R.M. and Goodwill Council 5, D. of A. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
