A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Mrs. Mary Lou Quiero of Chesapeake. He was a self-employed painter and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Besides his mother, surviving are two brothers, Arcino Quiero of Norfolk and Melvyn Quiero of Richmond, KY; and two sisters, Mrs. Ramona Kirkland of Norfolk and Mrs. Constance Sepulvedo of New York. Services were held in Graves Funeral Home by the Rev. Harold Gregory. Burial, with military honors, was in Calvary Cemetery.
