Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 27, 1948

Mrs. Mary Louise Scribner Quinn, 81, widow of Charles Lawrence Quin and daughter 
of the late John Edward and Mrs. Frances Ann Marchant Scribner, a native of 
Norfolk, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 4:30 p.m.
She is survived by one son, Thomas L. Quinn, of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Q. Bambridge, of Washington; one brother, Robert L. Scribner, of 
Norfolk and four grandchildren.
The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

QUINN, MARY LOUISE SCRIBNER - At a local hospital, Thursday, August 26, 1948, at 
4:30 o’clock p.m., MARY LOUISE SCRIBNER, widow of Charles Lawrence Quinn and 
daughter of the late John Edward and Frances Ann Marchant Scribner, in the 82d 
year of her age. Remains were taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 
1501 Colonial Avenue, pending arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Louise Scribner Quinn – Services for Mrs. Quinn, widow of Charles 
Lawrence Quinn, who died Thursday, were held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments today at noon. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
