Quinn, a well known and highly esteemed citizen, died yesterday afternoon about 4 o'clock at his residence, No. 514 Freemason Street, after a protracted illness, in the 55th year of his age. The deceased was unmarried and a brother of Deputy City Sergeant Charles L. Quinn. He was a director in the Twin City Building Association and was also treasurer of St. Mary's Cemetery. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the above residence. ************************************************************************* The obsequies of Walter R. Quinn were solemnized from his late residence, No. 514 Freemason street, at 10 o’clock a.m. yesterday and was numerously attended by the friends of the deceased, including the directorate of the Twin City Building association, of which the deceased was a member. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. The service was conducted by Rev. Father John Doherty, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic church. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. The pallbearers were as follows: James O’Rourke, Patrick Hart, D. F. Donovan, M. McKevitt, W. J. Dilworth, A. J. Morrisette, W. M. Hannan and B. McNally.
