Virginian-Pilot  September 14, 1906
The obsequies of Walter R. Quinn were solemnized from his late residence, No. 514 
Freemason street, at 10 o’clock a.m. yesterday and was numerously attended by the 
friends of the deceased, including the directorate of the Twin City Building 
association, of which the deceased was a member. The floral tributes were numerous 
and beautiful. The service was conducted by Rev. Father John Doherty, pastor of 
St. Mary’s Catholic church. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. 
The pallbearers were as follows: James O’Rourke, Patrick Hart, D. F. Donovan, M. 
McKevitt, W. J. Dilworth, A. J. Morrisette, W. M. Hannan and B. McNally.
