Norfolk Virginian October 2, 1897

QUINN - At No. 199 Fenchurch Street, Friday, October 1st, 1897, at 11:45 o'clock 
p.m., ELIZA QUINN, in the 77th year of her age.
The funeral will take place from Cumberland Street M.E. Church  SUNDAY AFTERNOON 
at 3:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Quinn, who died at No. 199 Fenchurch Street Friday 
night, took place from the Cumberland Street M.E. Church Sunday afternoon at 
3:30 o'clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. W.H. Atwill, pastor of the 
church. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: S.N. Brickhouse, John K. 
Gann, W.J. White, H.M. Lewis, John W. Snow, J.A. Slade, William Hoffman and Mr. 
Griggs. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
