Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, November 18, 1990
 Luise Kelly Quist, 83, of the 4500 block of Powell Point Road, died Nov. 17, 
1990, in a hospital. 
Mrs. Quist, a native of Columbia, S.C., was retired as the owner and president 
of David A. Rawls, Inc. after 40 years. She was a member of the Soroptimist 
Club International of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Order of Cape Henry 1607, 
World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads, Norfolk Yacht and Country Club 
and the Norfolk-Virginia Beach Executives Club. 
She was a charter member and past president of the Tidewater Business and 
Professional Women's Club and a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal 
Church. She was the widow of Fred E. Quist Sr. 
Survivors include a son, Fred E. Quist Jr. of Virginia Beach; two brothers, 
Algernon G. Kelly and William B. Howell Jr., both of Norfolk; two 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Christ and St. Luke's 
Episcopal Church by the Rev. James W.H. Sell. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the church memorial fund. Friends 
may join the family from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home.
