The Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 12, 1954
William Leonard Racette, infant son of Lawrence Edward and Mrs. Florence 
Singleton Racette, of 2807 Mark Street, South Norfolk, died in a Norfolk 
hospital yesterday at 12:25 a.m.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Edith Lane and Joyce 
Estelle Racette, and one brother, Lawrence Edward Racette, Jr., all of South 
Norfolk; his maternal grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Clarence Weatherington, of 
South Norfolk, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Racette, of 
Springfield, Mass.
The body was taken from the Graham Funeral Home yesterday to Magnolia Cemetery, 
where services were conducted by the Rev. Frank Hughes, Jr., pastor of the 
South Norfolk Baptist Church.
