Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 30, 1932

 Thomas F. Ralston, aged 62 years, husband of Martha H. Ralston and son of the 
late Matthew and Mary McKelvey Ralston, died yesterday morning at 5:45 o'clock 
at a local hospital. Mr. Ralston was a native of Wilmington, Del. and had been a 
resident of Norfolk for the past 40 years. He was a member of the Granite 
Cutter's Union. Besides his wife, Mrs. Martha H. Ralston, he is survived by one 
daughter, Mrs. R.R. Hancox, two sons, Mathew C. and William J. Ralston, all of 
Norfolk; one grandchild; one brother, Matthew Ralston, of Philadelphia; two 
sisters, Mrs. William Duffy, of Philadelphia and Mrs. William Wels, of Reading, 
Pa. and a number of nieces and nephews. Remains will be taken from the 
residence, 308 Mowbray Arch, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for funeral services 
tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
