Norfolk - Miss Cora L. Ramey, 42, of 902 St. Paul street, who died June 17 
in Ridgeway, NC, will receive final rites Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mother 
Church of God in Christ in Norfolk.

Bishop D. Lawrence Williams will officiate at the service. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.

The family and friends will assemble at the home of Mrs. Ruby E. Daniels at 
1349 Anne Street.

Daughter of the late George Ramey and Mrs. Emily Ramey, the deceased was 
born in Ridgeway. She was a member of Mother Church’s choir, secretary of 
its usher board and treasurer of its Young Women’s Club.

Miss Ramey is survived by a stepbrother, Clinton Turner of Norfolk; a 
sister, Miss Lucille Ramey of New York; and Mrs. Daniels, who is a 
stepsister.
