Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark May 14, 1914

Alexander Lewis Ramsay died at St. Vincent's Hospital at 5 o'clock yesterday 
morning after a short illness. He was a native of Norfolk, a son of the late Mr. 
and Mrs. Charles Ramsay and grandson of the late Captain Alexander Cunningham, 
United States Navy. He is survived by two sisters, Miss Virginia Clay Ramsay of 
Norfolk and Mrs. E.W. Peck of Tazewell, Va.
The funeral will be held at Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-112 East Freemason 
Street, at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Services will be conducted by Rev. W.A. 
Brown of Portsmouth.
